The system’s variability and modularity enable the installation and use of many built-in modules necessary for the use of modular operating theatres. The examples of these built-in modules are as follows:
Operating control panel enables e.g. to display the temperature and humidity of the operating theatre, set the necessary air temperature within a required extent or the lighting intensity of the operating theatre. It also enables to display the system states of UPS, DO, VDO and ZIS, set the lighting intensity of the operating lamp and use the function of a clock, stop watch as well as displaying individual pressures of medicinal gases.
Interlined (partition) window is located level with the edge of the panel facing. In case of protection against X-rays, a special Pb window of an appropriate thickness dependent on the output of the used X-ray apparatus is employed. Electromotive blinds can be built in between the glass sheet also serving as the protection against laser radiation. The frame of the window is painted with powder anti-bacterial varnish in the colour shade of panel facing.
An LCD monitor is built in the bottom panel facing. The monitor corresponds with the wall edge and is sealed with sectional silicone seals. The diagonal of the monitor is in compliance with the customer’s requirements. The monitor can display images or videos from PACS or other appliances (endoscope, cameras in the operating theatre, viewing cameras placed in the corner of the operating theatre displaying the situation in the theatre etc.). The monitor is connected to the control panel or it can be connected to a special built-in keyboard resistant to disinfectants.
A cupboard for stitching material contains a casing which corresponds with silicone seals. The cupboard has glass shelves for stitching material containers. The cupboard casing closes with dipteral rotary glass doors.
An interlined cupboard is built in the wall system. Double-sided dipteral door of the cupboard is usually made of stainless steel and can be partially glassed-in with safety glass resistant against disinfectants. The surface of the door is painted with powder anti-bacterial varnish in the colour shade of panel facing. Height-adjustable shelves are inside the cupboard.
Furthermore, other appliances can be built in, such as clock, theatre sound system, connections for laser etc. in accordance with the needs and wishes of the customer.
Eduction pipes usually placed in the corners of operating theatres are made of stainless steel. They are put together as one complex from top and bottom eduction pipes, connecting tunnel and the front grates of both eduction pipes correspond with the edge of the panel facing.
